I hear songs in my head that I know are yet unsung
I hear your voice tugging at my consciousness.
I'm struggling to drown the feelings you invoke in me
But how can I forget your kisses,
Your lips soft on mine,
Your electrifying me?
When I wake I see your face,
I go to sleep whispering your name.
When you told me we'd never meet again
Part of me died,
We're so intelligent...so rational,
So why can't we control our raw emotions?
It seems we're helpless to fight
This hopeless fight,
Yet we go on living and loving.
When the summer wind ruffles my hair
And murmers words... only I can hear,
When the moon looks down on both of us
Apart... yet not apart,
I know you'll always share my life
And love...I'm thinking of you
And loving you...always
