The valley of longing is a lonely place

You'll find it out there in cyberspace.

It's filled with lovers living on line

Within the confines of somewhere in time.

Most people living there are lonely and lost

They're looking for love at any cost.

I lived there awhile and nearly lost my mind,

I longed for something I knew would never be mine.

It's a dark, sad place, try to pass it by

If you stay you'll feel like you want to die.

You'll meet handsome men and pretty faces

But it's only an illusion of promising places.

Step out of the valley, lift your eyes toward the sky

You'll see all the stars and the moon up high

Don't be afraid, leave the valley, take a chance.

Dance in the moonlight, you might find romance.

Stay away from the valley of longing each night

And you'll find your days begin to get bright

Listen to the music, feel the warm sun above

And when you least expect it...

Don't be surprised if you find true love.
