In the wake of September 11, 2001

The people of this nation once again became one.

It mattered not our creed or color

We reached out our hand for one another.

We prayed side by side... you and me

For our country, the land of the free.

We are free to live as we choose...it is our right

For this I thank God each day and night.

The United States of America is 226 years old today

Since 1776 this has been Independence Day

We can pledge allegiance to our flag every day

What we say and feel in our hearts no-one can take away

Happy Birthday  America!

In light of the ruling before the Supreme Court
We, as Free Americans now have the responsibility of
teaching our children and granchildren the Allegiance to our Flag.
Our children may no longer have the freedom of learning this in their schools.

Please... Let's say it loud and often for them and for us

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag

Of the United States of America

And to the Republic for which it stands,

One Nation under God, Indivisible

With Liberty and Justice for All."
